i heard this report on the radio regarding the decrease in the number of people taking public transport. i'm not too surprised by it really. if those people would only take the public transport, they'd know why. to put it simply, it sux. the trains, especially in the mornings are impossibly crowded. the buses are not reliable, waiting for a bus can take up to 30 mins before you see 3 buses coming together. of cos we'd want our private transport. oh yes and taxis now are insanely overpriced. at this rate we'd rather walk from changi to tuas than take the public transport. at least it's free. n greener too. isn't that what everyone wants?
