latest must have for singers it seems: Timbaland
after making a smash hit outta promiscuous with nelly furtado(dunno who was propelling whose career... :P), he's been like everywhere. ok so he's worked with only 2 other artistes so far but surely that's proof enough? i mean sexy back was another phenomenon, and now pussycat dolls are jumping on the bandwagon with wait a minute. looks like we'll only be seeing more of timbaland around.

speaking of pussycat dolls, they're getting much better, not so sure about the 'live' singing though, the 2 award shows they were on, their singing sucked big time!!! anywayz, yar, they weren't much when they 1st started out with don'cha. it was like another set of wannabes who's trying to get a sultry song to sell. stickwitu was lame, 'nuff said. suddenly along comes buttons and it was honestly good (though they cant sing live for nuts) and now its wait a minute which may be quite big. i mean at least i like that song, cant say the same for the rest of the population. also, i was noticing a trend... pcd seem to do a lot of (better?) collaborations than on their own. i mean they've only got 2 solo hits/singles, whereas the next 3 are collaborations: beep feat. will.i.am, buttons feat. snoop dog (lol, pussycat dolls and snoop dog???), n now, wait a minute feat. timbaland... hmmm....

golden globe awards: pleasantly surprised when jennifer hudson won best supporting actress for dreamgirls. 1 more reason to watch the show... lol... other than that it was quite blah, possibly cos i've not heard of half the shows and even less of the winners... lol...
