i guess a lot has been said about ris low and her zibbra preent bigini and rad jins which was totally boomz. i am however more interested in the people who were commenting about her engrish. how many of these people who commented actually have a higher standard of english than she does? seriously, the general quality of english is honestly quite low. all over the place most people are still conversing in their mother tongue. more often people are speaking in a mixture of english, mandarin and malay and other assorted dialects. so exactly what is the whole fuss about? taking it to it's extreme, ris low is the perfect example. she speaks the way most singaporeans speak. you find me someone with a good command of english, my guess is the person probably not a singaporean. of course there are exceptions, but yar, that's the majority. i mean seriously look at the hosts we have on tv. how many of them can speak passable english in the first place? probably only 2, that's why they're in virtually every show that requires an english-speaking host...
