so obama's won the US presidential election. in all honesty, as much as i like him (and perhaps most of the people around the world), i'd never expect America to be prepared to accept a black president. however, there is something interesting about this whole affair: America is still not prepared to accept a female president. i.e. gender discrimination runs deeper than racial discrimination. i find this fascinating really. taking a really objective view of cos. now that that's done, i just want to point out something that i hope i won't get assasinated for: i think we're about to get invaded by aliens very soon. think about it. how many stories/comics featuring alien invasion have involved black presidents? this fits in very nicely with the rumour that the world's going to end in 2012. coincidence? damn right i hope so. i can't afford to go through 4 yrs of torture in law school just to graduate finding that the world's going to end. not a very appealing though yar?

read the newspaper regarding dress codes in tertiary institutions. since when did that ever come about? now we can't even wear singlets, shorts and slippers? what's up with that? not that i usually wear that to sch anyway but yeah wats up with that? i'm sure we do a great job disgracing ourselves on our own thank you very much. we don't need people telling us just how we're supposed to disgrace ourselves. we have a brain you know. we are supposedly clever enough to make these stupid decisions on our own. you're darn right i'm gonna sit in the canteen with my foot on the chair, a cigarette in one hand and stirring my coffee with the other thank you very much.
