the rain these days is absolutely insane. i was trying to get to school on monday, during reading week no less, to hand in my assignment, and as usual, lornie road had a massive congestion. seriously i have no idea why lornie road is so prone to accidents and congestions and what nots. it really drives me insane i tell ya. at this rate i have to take the mrt! *gasp* oh the horror, jostling with the working crowd... anyways, yar after being stuck there for like an eternity, i finally reached the busstop at 9.25. when my assignment had to be handed in by 10!!! and oh i forgot just this wee bit of info... it started raining. crazily! i thought, ok let's just wait a while, hope the rain gets bigger and maybe, just maybe it will stop sooner. well, i got half of it, cos it did rain even heavier. like this massive diarrhoea from the heavens! yup waited til 9.40 and it was still raining! yup at that time i decided to just make a dash for it. i mean i'd only get wet, my grades mean so much more than my health ya know. can't just fall sick anytime i like, have to do that after finishing my assignment and my tests and other what nots. so yup trudged through botanic gardens, mucking around in ankle-high waters of questionable contents (don't you just like the phrase: mucking around... mucking around... haha. moving on..) so yup even the umber-ella was useless, i was completely drenched. ok maybe not. had my bag(s) protecting me minimally. not a pretty sight. luckily i wasn't wearing a white shirt, if not i'd look too sexy for people to handle. ok fine obscene and people vomitting blood. so sue me. no choice i resorted to drying myself using the hand dryer in the toilet. the best part is the hand dryer is not the usual ones i have no idea how to describe it, but looks more like those UV lamp boxes where you put your hands into the contraption stuck in the wall. so there i was with one hand in the dryer trying to dry my sleeves, changing hands every few mins. now that was a sight. back to the rain, the bleddy rain just kept going! until 2pm (i think)! what gives? i know diarrhoea lasts throughout the day but this is ridiculous! (i can vouch that fact ;p) it's not meant to rain like that! not in the mornings anyway! such rain should only come at night when it becomes nice and cool for sleeping. it's a crime i tell ya! it's criminal!!!
