horror of the day: Manties

i was completely, or rather more correctly beyond horrified when my sister informed me about manties. yes, they're officially real now, panties for men. this fits in with the previous thought about 'deal or no deal' yar? imagine those hunks wearing manties... lolz. yar apparently they're underwear crafted for men, silk and other what-nots material. i just wonder if they come in lace... yummy...

back to lifts. now with lift upgrading project going on in my block, we have 25 floors of residents fighting for that one lift. i have no idea why it has to tak like 1/2 a yr to knock holes into like 20 floors and building a new carriage. does that have to take like 8 months? they closed it last december, promising to finish in august this year, then suddenly in july they say oh works will complete in september. i was like what the hell, its almost finished then they say need more time.

to make things worse, they just had to slow down the lift. as it was, the lift already takes 5 mins to travel from the ground floor to the top floor and back to ground floor lah. means miss the lift and you wait like 5 mins. now its even slower, you have to wait like 10 mins lah. imagine the awkward silence now intensified!! last time only got 5 mins of awkward silence and mundane pointless talk. now its 10 mins of awkward silence or completely nonsensical banter lah. wat a horror. then when the lift finally gets assembled, there's literally 25 floors for the lift to stop on lah. oh the horror...
