sigh, it's a sad sad week in music history. the passing of michael jackson came as a shock to i guess all of us. i mean he is the pop icon of the 80's and the 90's. well his life did take a nose dive after 2000. at least we got a couple of laughs. but more importantly i was awaiting his comeback concert. maybe that was his undoing. ah well.


enough mourning for now. after watching harper's island last night, i have to say something about it. honestly the trailers were very promising and the first few episodes were very good. but last night's episode was absolute rubbish. ok the main downside about the show is that there are so many characters i lost track. even now when there's so few left i still have problems remembering who is who. partially cos they all look the same and partially because they don't really bother to tell you anyway. it's more fun waiting to see who and how the next person is killed. anyway. last night's episode was absolute rubbish because, oh my goodness, wakefield isn't dead. i mean come on, that is boring. seriously, that little girl is infinitely creepier. with people dying all around her she's still so calm? what gives? i mean it looks like she's the killer! then, wakefield, armed with a knife. a knife. walks into the inn and what do the people do? they grab their guns and run away. hello??? you have a bloody shotgun! against a guy with a knife! idiots these people. then when another guy has a shot at killing him from like 200m away, he hits the ground. seriously. the shooter was on a bridge. if you know you have lousy aiming you could wait for the person to like step onto the bridge where there's no escape, then shoot him? rubbish show. the only saving grace is the plot twist hinting that there's an accomplice. i hope it's better than the crap they served up this last episode.
