been watching singapore idol, as usual, always with my head up in the clouds thinking i can be on tv one day.. wait, i was on tv, for like a split second!!! lolz... anywayz, back to my point: apart from all the glitz n glamour, paul hiding his (ugly?) face behind his long, long loooong hair, jay trying to convince us mid-bawl that he's not a crybaby, the so obvious lack of chemistry n over-the-top antics of the 2 hosts.... that i forgot what i wanted to say... hahah... *oops*ok... put simply: i look at the current stage lay-out of the "SPECTACULARS"(insert thunderous boom/whodunit music) and i'm like, hey, i've seen all of that before, and again. i mean, the stage bears more than a passing resemblence to the superband stage, which looks suspiciously similar to the campus superstar stage, which is an obvious rip-off of the project superstar stage. my say is: i've seen this stage before! its not exciting! i want something new, something fascinating, something more original n creative!!! its quite sad that these happen to be one of the most creative people in singapore and all that they can come up with is some set 'borrowed' from somewhere else. it's almost like that new show on ch 8: it's showtime. i applaud the relevant athorities for such a show, kudos to the japanese originators. oh wait, did i mention japanese originators? this is precisely my point: it's good that we're trying to promote creativity n stuff, but the producers themselves aren't that creative, n that's sad. we're trying to dig up new singing talents, but with all these similar sets n concepts, i'm feeling a bit jaded, y would i wanna see all these all over again? then again, credit should be given to the producers for giving so much exposure to the wannabes, bringing them closer to the voters, cos the judges' comments don't matter!!! mwahaha!!! ahem, yar, digging up juicy gossips about the idols, n the hosts' attempt to spice up the show... i hope the finals will be grand, cos the "spectaculars" stage isn't spectacular, at all....

i mean, would YOU buy something that goes by:
SO-SO (umbrella)
TAIKO (confectionery i think)
ok, so its cheap, probably explains the name, but still, branding is impt yar? giving such names seem to defeat the purpose, but who am i to judge? i'm only a consumer with spending power.... hahaha....
sigh, the legendary performer robbie williams is coming to singapore!!! for only 1 performance!!! argh!!! i so wanna go, but looking at the tcket prices, even if i went, i'd probably just see like an ant strutting across the stage... n the problem is i'm not even sure if the tix are still on sale, a while back news came out that tix were only sold for 1 day, but now it looks like sistic still selling them so now i'm quite lost. point is it's about time i started saving up to buy tix whether or not i do in fact buy them... lolz. argh, i so wanna watch, but so many things going on all over that it seems like i wont be able to watch... i mean i'm in ns, yahoo, so there's like no time to get the tix much less go n watch it in the 1st place... 2: if i do eventually get my ass down to sistic to purchase the tix, who'd go watch with me?!?!? i'd be like mobbed by the hardcore fans, or rather stampede-d by them... sigh.. will i ever get to watch robbie williams live in concert???
