went to watch Ice Age 3 last night. i was quite disappointed. i wanted to watch hannah montanna lor. i mean i practised so hard for the hoedown throwdown lor. haha. anyway. for the life of me i cannot understand why there were children in the cinema for the 9.40 show. come on. it's way past their bed time. shouldn't they be asleep at like 7? haha. ok but seriously, the show ended at 11.30. they should be in bed by 10. ideally. yar.

anyway. it's actually quite good. the 3d wasn't all that it was hyped up to be though. granted i could virtually see every hair follicle swaying in the wind, but it wasn't like oh i could reach out and touch the characters effect. speaking of 3d, imagine them producing porn in 3d. yangtze will definitely get more business i tell ya. but yar. it just looked 3d that's all.

the movie was quite good. resorting to physical humour as usual. quite good if you don't want to work your brain out too much. there were a few subtle morals though. a bit too subtle i guess. scrat the sabertooth squirrel stole the show as usual. especially with love interest scratte. i have to say the 3 t rex babies were really very cute. and funny.

my only gripe was the person sitting next to me repeating each punchline. hello, i heard it already, i'm sure your girlfriend did too. and of course the very perceptive children giving their opinions or wailing at the movie. there were a lot of reference jokes. including some that most of the people in the cinema didn't get... overall not a bad movie to catch if you want mindless entertainment.
